Remote Desktop

I'm looking for recommendations for remotely controlling my laptop at home with my mobile phone. I have logmein free but it's due to be discontinued and being a bit of a tight git I'm looking for something free if possible

I use TeamViewer too for Mac and Windows - very reliable

Microsoft Remote Desktop works great with windows 8.1
