Nokia Lumia 520 apps help

Just bought a android phone ( Nokia Lumia 520 ) after my iphone finally gave up. How do i go about adding free apps that i download from here and other sites. Has anyone got a link to a tutorial as i have never done them via android only iphone jailbreak etc.

No m8 they only work on android phones

DAM lol oh well, dont suppose you know how i get my kindle books via calibre to the phone do you. I installed kindle from the shop on the phone but my books dont show up in the kindle. The calibre says its detected the windows smartphone and sends it to the device but no show.

can you side load them to your 520
take off computer to sd card and get them that way
