Unlock HTC DESIRE A8181

hi guys - my son bought a phone from his mate at school, unfortunately its sim locked to orange, he needs to use it on O2. Any ideas if this can be done free or do i take it to local phone shop? THANKS:Biggrin2:

ok looks like the unlocking worked fine but cant get any sim to work, just get "limited service" message on all sim cards that ive tried 02, voda, tmobile..etc....probably blocked...bloody teenagers, gonna tell my son to give it back...

Yup. It look that way. If it's the amoled one, and not the LCD, I maybe interested for bits if the kid at school has already spent the money.
