for once & for all can someone give me a answer on this question please , i want to watch the football off vip sports etc on the tv instead of the pc , can somebody tell me if they do it off a tablet? i want to buy a tablet for this & it will only be used for this as i mainly use the pc for anything else, the one i am looking at has a HDMI out port on it so will i just be able to plug the lead from the tablet to the tv & watch the streaming site on the tv? does anyone do this already & if so what tablet do you use, this is the one i am looking at Buy VERSUS 7 Touchpad Tablet - 8 GB | Free Delivery | Currys, is this good enough ? thanks for any replies

hi, i have a PIPO M3 chinese android tablet, and this one lets me watch on the tv. basically the tv just becomes a monitor for the tablet and anything you see on the tablet is viewed on the tv.there are settings for hdmi in the tablet to resize the picture on the tv. hope this helps.

thanks for reply, where did you get it & what do you watch? i don't mean downloaded movies etc i mean live streaming football, so flash will be required

i got it direct from a Chinese web site. this one has flash installed, but i think flash is not supported on the latest android os. M3 has a 10 inch screen so can watch live streams of football and cricket.there are a few English resellers of these and other android tablets, it would be costly if anything went wrong with the tablet as Chinese customer service is non existant.

That's the part i dont understand mate  , i have the galaxy s2, if i try & view the football streams EG: vip box, first row sports , it states i need flash, when i go to my apps adobe flash player 11 is installed, its the same os as the tablet i was looking at (ics) so im thinking if it wont work on my phone surely it wont work on the tablet? i know its only 90 quid or something but i wont use it for anything other than the football tbh otherwise i would have just bought one

It could be your browser settings, I know chrome doesn't support flash

You will probably find that any tablet running the latest Android, Jelly Bean, or Ice Cream Sandwich will not show flash or java streams. So you will need something running Android gingerbread (android 2.3) or lower.

I have bought lots of things from Pandawill and they have a ton of tablets that will do the job. Providing you want to buy from China. Their prices are cheaper than ebay because they are one of the main sites ebay sellers dropship from. Chinavision is also a good site, but they charge for delivery.

If you are always going to connect it to a tv then there's not much point wasting money on a 10" screen when a 7" screen will suffice.

Just because it's cheap and Chinese doesn't mean bad quality but does mean a lot of expense should anything go wrong. Also most brands are made in China these days and quite a few of them in the same factories as the no-name stuff.

Hiya, ive got samsung galaxy note 10.1 tablet and i can watch football on firstrow site, im running android 4.0.4, ive got flash player installed, i dont get the option to stream to my tv though like i do when watching a film threw the video player where you get a icon like a monitor in top right of screen, im sure you could get a tv lead or something though to do it,

you would need to check if there is a gingerbread ROM for it.

Hi, with the ads mate you need to press the crosses on them to close them down, ive found you need to close them down before the timer runs down or they dont seem to close properly, i dint see your edited post before uploaded that flash player mate, if its working you probably wont need to install that, just close down the adverts ,

i am running android jelly bean on my chinese tablet, PIPO the makers have installed flash in their firmware and it works fine. Chrome is no good for streaming, i can use firefox but the native browser is best. also in the browser setting it gives you the option for DESKTOP SITE check that and try.
