My local supplier has just received some of these stb's and at £60+vat they look a bargain price for a HD receiver. Patches are available and easy to load via usb, lines are input by usb too, so all straighforward. So has anyone tested one of these stb's, I'd appreciate your thoughts?

Ok this thread went bump!!!!!!!!

I have bought the 102e to test, I have the firmware to update. I know the firmware works ok as I know a few people who are using this stb for cs. This stb also works as a newcamd server, serving upto just 4 stbs. As far as I can see to share you will need an original subbed card and cannot reshare using this stb. This stb also does not have rf loopthrough so an rf modulator would need be added to distribute around the home. But for the money its no big deal to cough up an extra £30 for an rf modulator if you wish to distribute.

I have attached the latest firmware I can find (co. of another forum) for others to have a mess with. I can't believe that there arn't any posts about this stb on here? I've read all 39 pages on the 120 Combo and it seems that the update process, cline adding process (either usb or manual remote control on the stb) is identical for the 102e. But what I want to load to save me time sorting through channels is a channel list set out similar to the usual sought after list for 28.2e. I'm used to meddling with the Technomate range of stb's which are great as its dead easy to share channel lists between stb models. I've got the 120 combo channel list from the other thread but does anyone know if its possible to load this list to the 102e.

I will post back once I get the stb working.
