hi all i got a 2100 hear that will not find its net id or frequancy ,
i shorted battrey
and now have net id 099999 or somthing like, with wrong freq for my area
wen i plug into stream it stays at ld20 left it overnight to take update but still lb20 with wrong freq and id ??
set freq in e/m manulay to see if it would then find id and tune but freq just defaults back on reboot and id stays at 0999999
any ideas please ???? tia.
(anyone think this is tuner fault?)

22nd September 2006, 10:22 #4 The frequency can be set for your area in the engineers menu.
You will need to set the NetID to your area. You can do this by writing a funcard with special instructions that set the NetID force the box to reboot and then the new netid takes effect.
I suggest starting with a search on these forums for "netid funcard" and see what you get
The netid and frequency values should also be available within these forums somewhere...

22nd September 2006, 10:48 #6 I have heard that sometimes the netid / frequency is auto set by the sammy box as though it can auto configure itself. I have never seen this however. or maybe the cc have removed this facility for the sammy boxes?
Either way, just get your net id and freq set to the right values and you'll be away...
