i just updated windows 98 on my ibm thinkpad 600e. Now it wont start up properly and says invalid disk replace the disk and press any key when i turn it on, thing is i dont have the disk anymore what can i do?

u can get a boot disk from here m8 h**p://www.bootdisk.com and start from a drive then repair install

invalid disk...check to see that you have nothing in your floppy drive and press and key to continue...or when booting up press F8 or F2 for safe mode, should let you go into msconfig settings and see what is going on..hope this helps.

oh btw m8...i had that problem a while ago..invalid disk on 98 means you have a floppy in the drive so remove it and press anykey..should boot up m8, if not safe mode by pressing F8 or F2

dont have a floppy disk drive in it

u can download a boot drive to cd disc and start in d to config the system or download a new 98 on limw**e

was it 98 se download win2000 and install that its better

where can i get 2000 from ? also wont it be that stable will it as i only got 32mb ram
