hi this is my first post in this forum so please be gentle (heheh)

anywayz what it is.. i bought a legit pace od box when it first came out. i heard about the hack a little while after and i bought a card over the net, i had to update the codes via the remote and everything was sweet...

after about 9 months of usage, the site that i normally got ythe codes from went dead and other commitments prevented me to enquire about codes... just recently i found out the hack had not died and had been advanced ie auto update cards etc.. cool i thought..

so i dusted off my old box and plugged it in, i inputted the may codes, no luck screen but no pic, tried also june codes and again no luck.

i checked the smartcard data and it says the subscription ends: ONDIGITAL@1 31 DEC 2000

so is my card out of date???

any help would be appreciated

YOU WILL HAVE THE OLD CARD WHICH WILL HAVE BEEN ECM AND THEN IT NEEDS REPROGRAMED SEE SOMEONE WITH A PROGRAMMER AND GET THE DBMG 2 CODE IN EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE

yeah it looks like phil is right but try out all of the monthly codes you never know...

and please we dont belive in flaming any questions we all had to start somewhere.... it has come to my attention that newbies on other forums get flamed as they have asked a question that was asked yesterday etc we belive that not everybody knows how to use the search not everybody knows how a Bullitin Board works etc.

so please all members ask any thing you like

i bought the card over the net, and i do not know anybody with a programmer. would it be wise to just buy another card? if so anywhere reliable where i can purchase one. or i could buy a programmer cos i wouldnt mind dabbling in such things. how much approx would a programmer cost and how difficult is it to use, where to purchase etc.

again any replies appreciated, and thanks again.

I bought myself a ELVIS programmer and a gold card, programmed via instructions found on this board and VOILA! all is good in the land of the DIGITAL.

It seems my old card is a bit knackered i think, i reprogrammed it but it will only work for a few seconds and there is a blank screen, any ideas???

just a quick question...

now i have made this card.. i have moved my stb to another place and i wanted to add the channels again, but it asks for a parental code, whatever i input it does not accept.

can ne1 help??
