this version is good the latest cryogenic
but the one coming soon from him is going to kick ass
thats all i can say about it
i love the 1.73 option via the blue button
as it does a 100% scan everytime
i have been trying to solve this by editing the files so you dont have to have this option to get the 100% scan
its the hardest project i have come across one time i thought i done it and guess what crash the box again
so its back to the training board but i aint giving up lol
if there is anyone that wants to help me or to give advice thats great and my ears are open for any positive advice on this
cheers

nor do i lol
i am editing the zapit file from the 1.73 as perfection scan with thanks to cydine
and the next-gen zapit and trying to blend the 2 together via hex editor and i am getting a step further though {yeepee}
just need someone {trustworthy} i can rely on in a telewest area to do a full scan with fast scan off
and post promptly the results
as so far for pure ntl the result is perfect
its not for playing as yet and the new image i am working on is a base tuxbox image cv's built 06/01/06
i had to get the camds mounted on it as well which now is all sorted and au's perfectly
the gavs menu is on it now and driver selection and standy settings with ucode switch as well
this image will never be released untill i get the scanning perfect so people will have to be very patient on this
cheers

Hi mate,
Just finsihed a scan and it missed one transponder (Telewest).
I will give it another go later tonight if you like as it could have been down at the time.
If your having problems editing the two zapit files it could be because the nextgen that cydine done works of a newer set of libs to what sportster use so something that might work on the sportster might not work on your new cvs build (Not 100% sure).
I will have a better and more detailed look tonight (when the wife is in bed).
I wish I had another pc to throw a linux setup on as it would probably shed more light on the matter.
Oh BTW, Evocamd 1.8 has been released (is in the usual place) and Nirvanas new sectionsd has been uploaded by PT-1 over at his house.

8th January 2006, 17:02 #7 Guys if you want a linux machine then all you have to do is download "Knoppix Live Linux CD" from www.knoppix.org and then burn it to disc.
Simply put that disc in and it'll boot linux off the disc and wont affect anything on your hard drive. Best to have a 1GB usb pen drive for storing files if doing it that way.
Or alternatively you could partition off your hard drive and multi-boot windows and linux.
Always best to compile raw source code than editing the zapit files manually with a hex editor

Why do that it would be a lot easy to install a VMWARE virtual workstation and have linux installed on it that way you allways boot into windows xp and have the flexability to dump into linux check out http://www.greymatter.com/buyers/p73695
Enjoy
