any ideas why,tryed a few rom ten images for it,works fine with a au funcard,but locks up with rom 10

I've found that ROM11 cards work better in 4000s.

coul not get a rom10 to work on sammy either,,,,,but the 4000 is my main concern

get yourself a working r11 image for your area, edit in your bk and ird in nagra edit then save as a bin file.

open romstudio and write the r11 image to the r10 useing the backdoor method {try that}

"DONT" write the R11 bin image to a R10 useing nagra m8 {otherwise you will knacker the card}

If a ROM10 is failing to work on a 4000 then its either the image or a knackered card. Quite a few subbed 4000 boxes have Rom10 cards and, as far as the box is concerned, there is no difference between a Rom10 and a Rom11 card.

have u got a good image for a rom10 for c/w please,tried a few,,,,,,,had problems when trying to use them with sammys

use a rom 11 m8 i have never got a rom 10 to work in a 4000, but rom 11 works every time.

its whats actualy on the card that makes the diffrence m8, {hes already been told that}---------a dataspace image from your r11 should get your r10 working also

this seems a strange thread - i have never had a problem getting a rom10 to work in a 4000 or a sammy. as said earlier there are a number of 4000 in service with rom10's in them!!
