just a quicky, have got a film and I don't recognise the file format, not sure how to burn it to disc, the file is RMVB file, have never seen this before, anyone any ideas??

RMVB stands for Real Media Variable Bitrate and is commonly used to contain RV9 (Real Video 9 video) and RA (Real Audio). I've encoded in this format before and it's better than DivX in terms of quality at low bitrates. Higher bitrates are fairly similar.

Better to use Media Player Classic (MPC) with the Real Media codecs installed to play it back:

ok got it sorted have to convert the file to avi first, am using winavi at the moment, will see how it goes

youre best using real player alternative (google it), if you dont want to lose any quality converting....
