If rumours are 2 be believed, we'd better get used to life without Cole, as there is a strong belief that he only signed a contract extension based on a gentlemen's agreement that he'd be allowed to leave this summer as long as he goes abroad.

Madrid and Barca are both believed to have spoken with his agent....RM need a replacement 4 Carlos!

depends how the season pans out for us aswell, that goes for all our stars

it also goes for alot of manchester utd stars aswell....

arsenal and manchester utd both need silverware to keep the best players, the whole thing spans around chelskis buying power no one can compete in the market when chelski are in for a player.

now if arsenal or manchester utd won the champions league (which was the reason liverpool kept gerrard!!!) or premiership our stars would stay if we fail to win either of these competitions... they will go.

henry and cole i can see leaving if arsenal dont win anything, and i dont blame them for being ambitious and if we cant win anything then its down to the managers to make us compete with chelskis money in other ways !!!

i dont hate or resent chelsea for having money i just wont ever believe that they could of won the premier without the cash or abramovichy

Agreed, we both definately need to win trophy's and a domestic cup may not be enough. The Manc's may end up losing Fergie, but for us the reprocussions of an unsuccesful season are gonna be far more serious.

Wat hit the hardest was our inability to replace wat we lost. This belief that we should rely on the youngsters in a way also shows lack of ambition. Fair enough we lost out on Baptusta but there is enough out there, even if it was 4 a season. An exp pro is wat the likes of Flamini and Fabr. need. Worst case scenario Davids would have done. Otrherwise Ballack would have been great...

The best way to move to the new stadium would have been by winning major trophies. Now we're likely to kick off the new season at the new stadium in July by qualif. for the Champions league.

Speaking to Telegraph Sport, Hill-Wood said: "We have money in the bank [£63 million] and Wenger can buy if he wants to.

Frustrated, who me?
