Discuss downloading films at the General Chat within the DigitalWorldz - Satellite, Cable, Console Forums; is it true there are sites out there where you can download full films then put them on to vcd thanx for any help...

    try kazaa or e donkey, unless you have a high speed internet connection I think its more trouble than its worth. <img src="graemlins/dizzy.gif" border="0" alt="[dizzy]" />

    you get the same film but in better quality from <a href="http://www.edonkey2000.com" target="_blank">www.edonkey2000.com</a> & if you go to your search engine and enter download.cnet, then select it, you can download other software that you can obtain films from. <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

    hi j5, have you ever managed to succesfully download a film from one of these sites? It never works properly for me. <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0">

    I only use edonkey & kazza but a mate uses the ones on download.cnet and he has no probs, tell me what the prob is and i'll will ask him <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

    It takes about 20 hours to download half a film, thinking of changing to cable. Thanks anyway, easier to get the films from the local markets.

    on cable it takes about 2hours per half, and you get to choose the quality. <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

    Open edonkey, click on the servers tab, to the left of the screen you will see a (files tab) double click on that so that the most amount of files are at the top.

    If there are no files, you will need to phone up your isp and explain exactly what you are trying to do, they will talk you through changeing the port you are using.

    IF files appear (ie 26000. etc) click on the green plug at the top of the page and keep on clicking until it goes red, then search for what you want! <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

    Thanks for your help johnny5 I have tryed all you told me to do with no joy when I click the servers tab, then click files they are all 0. (apart from one at the top whitch is 8450) I phoned up my IPS they said that the port was not blocked but they can not help me to se if it was blocked on my pc is there anythink more I can try
