100 channels is low it should be 250-300, which image are you using and did you get it from here?, also chalky what area are you in a there might be a service file for you to use.

Are doing the scan as typed below and which image are you using?....a scan should pick up all the channels you can get in your area and no more, sometimes channels get moved onto another transponder or there are no services files for your area so it that case you need to scan, it will pick up radio stations and when you have successfully done a scan you can listen to these by pressing Dbox on your remote followed by Radio mode.....and to get back to TV press Dbox followed by TV mode.
You do not have to do a scan if you think you are getting all the stations already including radio ones...try the instructions for listening to radio before doing a scan to see if you already have them.
Scanning Instructions
Dbox
Service
Service Scan
Change bouquet to "Leave existing" (if you want to keep it).
Change cable provider to your area (which for you chalky is 6952)
I turned off Fast scan
Start scan
Make a cuppa and wait.
It should pick up all the channels if not try bruteforce scanning.
Ps.... try the service file i am about to upload in the Service Xml's In Here thread as you might get a better result (you are in Scotland..yes..no?).
