Just wondering if anybody can shed some light onto this.

I hear its possible to disable this so that you cannot update your cards via RC?? Can ondigital do this to stop people using the RU Kevlar??

How do you renable this so you can update your cards.

Anybody know?

i am interetsed in a response too to this issiue as i to have a card that failed to update via remote even while it was ative showing all channels ,also was told that my remote acess could be disabled on box ,,plese if so how do i reactivate my remote access on box thanks for any help

OK then, I*vD*g*t*l can send signal which will disable the remote update possibility of your card, depending on the software currently used on your card. A basic ECM which doesnt kill card just makes it run out. When a new card is accepted in box u will b able to remote update on the new accepted card because the software on it will b different. So once your card has Kevlar programmed you can then remote update but you cant add Kevlar without a programmer. Kevlar, at present, is bullit proof and cannot be hit by the same ECM from network. Does this help?? Basically your cards arenot goin to accept codes via remote until they have new software put on.

The codes for this month work fine....I know this....and I know it hasnt been ECM'd yet. I have a mate who can longer update his card..its worked fine for the past two months and now he can no longer update it....and yes its Kevlar....Is it that he has screwed his card or is it that the RC update has been disabled on his box??? seeing as its Kevlar and all!
