Im just new to DBOX...

Received mine last monday there... did a channel search and picked up all channels working GREAT...

Next morning checked the box was fine then went to work came back home several hours later and now when I turn on the box or reboot there is absolutley no display on the TV screen either through a Scart or Tuner connection.. Weird!!!!

It is a new unit bought from ebay last week..

Does anyone know what may be the problem as it was fine then just went several hours later...

As I say im new so not got much of a clue on how to set up at moment :0(

I know it has Sportster Image installed I think its the 1.7 image

And my display on the dbox shows the channels etc

im based in central scotland in UK

any help would be very much appreciated.

Do you think maybe the tuner on the box has gone already?

did some one set the box up for you?
if so you need to find out if they put the auto update key in!

try a evocamd resart
blue button/blue button/ red / green /red

this will restart evocamd

i had to do a restart this morning keys changed in notts it didnt autoupdate.

The ebay seeler in Germany installed an the image on my box, I will check with him about the auto update you mentioned.

But what do you reckon, you dont think the box is knackered already is this blank screen on start up can it be quite a common problem like?

i very much doubt the box is knackered mate do some searching and reading IE dbox tutorials so u can put the auto update key in the correct folder on the dbox ,by using flashfxp.

if and when you get stuck we will be glad to help .

the sellers dont normally put an image on for you ,we have to do it ourselves ,you will find a few different images in the download section . im using the lastest sportster at the mo which seems to be stable.

by the way is it a nokia or a sagem?

if there is no picture at all not even during start up ur box probly is nackerd nothing can last for ever even if it is new my b the secound day mite b the 3rd may even b a year later but things goo but try hav a play around with it could b sumat simple

Hi m8 when you say you get no picture .do you mean nothing??? ie you cant see the menu's etc when you press the DBOX button......if so then looks like the scart output may be busted

I think your right mate i have been trying various things but still no joy, just new and busted already NIGHTMARE although the seller from Ebay has been excellent and is offereing a replacement or refund from Germany. I want one that will work so ill give it another go.

Big Mac any ideas if these parts can be fixed here anywhere im in central scotland.
