    Can any one point me in the right direction on how to scan for channels.

    Sorry stew i posted the wrong link ---too many pages open at once, i have corrected the link on my post above follow it then read post 6 (which is my post).

    Or just read below Done on the Sportster 1.1.2 in the download section.

    On the subject of scanning you need to ftp over these files to your box cables and scans for uk providers into /var/tuxbox/config/ (after un-raring it!)when you have done this POWER OFF your box at the plug not a soft reset and turn it back on then do the following on your remote

    Dbox
    Service
    Service Scan
    Cable provider -- Select your cable provider for your area (scroll down to it and click ok and it will change)For example Huddersfield is 6887
    Go to the bottom of the menu and click start scan
    Wait or have a cuppa as it may take 30mins
    If you get no channels after it has finished scanning you might have chose the wrong area to scan so try again but choose another.

    Back up your service and bouquet before starting & Guys any other tips or a better way?
