I have just agreed to upgrade my 300k broadband to 1Mb with ntl for free, as my broadband is through my pace box I am going to have to change it for a samsung.

My question is this, will I still be able to use my non subbed box? which is also a pace box.
If not I will cancel the upgrade

Yes, they're just upgrading your box for the internet speed. This doesn't change the signal you get down the cable, they'll just increase the broadband speed allowance on the line.
