hiya guyz,
not to sure where to start here, but here goes
box is nokia dbox2 already in debug mode and working fine,
im in a TW area the problem here is i'm not getting BBC1 /2 ITV E4 etc aslo no ppv, now if this was a pace box, then i'd say the Netid/freq is wrong for my area,
i've also tried Scan transponer, and i'm gettin nothing until i reboot the box,
please can someone point me in the right direction
thanks again DW

18th March 2005, 11:22 #2 Have you tried different service.xml lists for your areas around you? That might work. It worked for me.

18th March 2005, 17:53 #5 You can make your own service files from areas arouund you that have the channels u want by copying and pasting into the correct transponder section in the service.xml
i done it to get channels i didnt have and it worked a treat

18th March 2005, 18:18 #6 thanks Psycobob
i've tried both
Bradford_TW_2_6952
Bradford_TW_1_6952
and the data seems to be the same on both service.xml
i really dont know what to try next, been playing with this now for a few days before i posted, with the pace box's the net-id for my area would be 40962 and not 40961, if thats any help
thanks again DW

18th March 2005, 20:57 #7 I have the nexgen 1x image working a treat now......but did have to add files to the image using ftp.....
I would get the fta channels but nowt else. I found the best way was to get a service file for your area....then install an enigma image and do a scan for the channels.....then convert the enigma services file image to a neutrino image. (there is a tut for it on here somewhere).
I compaired the two files and found that the channels were on different transponders....I put the two files together keeping the file format the same reinstalled nextgen added to the right folder and hey all the channels.
The Heed
