Nexus 7

I have just bought a Nexus 7 to custom fit on my Mazda RX-8 (RX8 Owners Club • View topic - DIY: Fit a Nexus 7 tablet into your RX8)

Is there a guide to rooting the Android OS (I am used to jailbreaking my iPhone and iPad) and have gone so far as to set it in developer mode but kinda stuck from there :-(
