I bought one from Tesco (sorry 80 not 90 ) ,£49 but every 1/2 hr or so it disconnects from the WiFi "NOT IN RANGE". I then have to manually search then reconnect.

Anyone having a similar problem and did you suss it ?

Hi mate, got my wife one for 49 quid also, I found was that it lost connection when in sleep mode, had to go to settings, wifi then tick keep connected in sleep mode,also lost connection a couple of times and wifi was randomly switching on and off so had to reboot but it's been fine since doing the above

I managed this part ;-
----------- Rooting Stock ICS 4.0.4 -------------
1) Download and unpack the attached archos_80_cobalt_root.zip

2) Ensure sure ADB is enabled on your device (Settings -> Developer Options -> USB debugging [tick] )

3) Install the ADB driver (included)

4) Run RunMe.bat and select option 1

5) Check on device, when asked to restore, press the "Restore my data" button.

I've done the above then im lost as to what, were, when, can someone break the next part down for me please ? how to flash it .

It's the wife's mate so going to leave it cuz she's happy with it
