what virtulisation do people use ?
i used MS virtual PC for a while but tbh the pc i was using was a bit underpowered so i wasn't that impressed however i understand there are new improvements usb support etc.
i am looking at workstation virtulisation with probably 2 virtual machines max at any time the pc i intend running it on is quad core intel with 4G mem.
i have just downloaded a trial of vmware workstation v9 and there is the MS VirtualPC with XPMode any others ?
any pointers ?

I mostly use VMware and occasionally VirtualBox but I don't have the need as much these days.

VMWare all the way . ESXi cos it free and does what it says..but would ideally want ESX for the fully managed via vCenter and added bonus of HA and SRM for disaster recovery.
best tool ever in VMWare is the esxtop - been a life saver for me

i use vmware and virtual box but always open to try new stuff.
Will google some of the stuff mentioned here and play around.
