want to add some biss keys but i have no idea how , read somewhere to tune to channel and then press 8280 but that just changes channel to something on a different satelite.

A. CG121 posted on another forum regarding channels using Irideto system. The name of the thread is "Technomate-tm-800-hd-softcam-for-bulsat" and uses Mgcamd 1.38 or 1.35a.

There should be a softcam.key file in usr/keys/ I am presuming that you replace the I with a B

B. If you fancy giving it a try, try using SatAngels_KeyUpdater_Vu+_1.4_ipk.zip. It works on the Twin using CCcam, so hopefully works on the TM800. Backup your image first!

Very new to here I take it the file has to be configured some way.

Or is it just a text file with a different extension?

download the .zip/.rar file from whatever source then extract it... now ftp it into usr/keys and then re-start the cam. if using mgcamd 1.38 i use @serjoga softcam file and @bliner key pack but feel free to use any you wish,regards mdt

Thanks for the reply.... Although I feel bit of a plonker as when I first read this thread I was sure I saw 6800 not just 800, trouble is last few days I have been reading the forum quite intensively.

Have actually managed to upload the keys now via the USB function, they didn't work but I suspect that was down to the fact they were generated in April so I'll need to do a little research on where to go to get the latest from.

Anyway appreciated the reply.

I just tried this on a TM800. I used the Minicats key update option (as posted by someone else for another receiver), the two desired channels on 39e and 10e cleared. Both CCcam 2.21 and Mgcam 1.38 tried.
