Price for work doing on wifes car?

Wife bought a car and it has some slight damage, it will need.

    1. new bonnet - old one has some play due to support underneath coming away from the top of bonnet.
    2. new front offside bumper bracket
    3. bonnet / front bumper and rear bumper spraying
    4. a few scratches touching in around the doors - these are light scratches.

The car is a Citroen C4 Picasso 57 plate, just wondering what a reasonable quote for this would be from a reputable bodyshop?

    Thanks.

Can the bonnet bracket not be re- welded that would save you getting a new bonnet and spraying it?. your bumper bracket is about £25.00 and the scratches touching up? this can be done in a fashion but if its metallic paint it would be advised to spray the full area for it to look decent mate. Also your bumpers need doing fully

The Bonnet is Ally and looked like it needed some industrial glue or something - would need a new bonnet to be honest, it is a metalic paint too - what kind of money would you reckon for this work?

At a rough guess mate you are probably looking at around the £400.00 to £600.00 pound area.

can you not look at getting the parts from a Car Salvage yard ,you might be lucky and find one that is the same color and save on re-spraying them

Yes that is a good suggestion phawke754 if he is lucky. it's a Citroen don't forget and that means money. Its about £80.00 to £150.00 for a bonnet on that and more or less a full respray depending on the scratches.

Your spot on miggy - just been quoted £550 from a decent bodyshop turnaround 3 days she bought the car cheap enough so spending that still leaves profit if she decides to sell it.

That sounds like a fair quote for a professional job tbh.
