Hi, ive just had my 2.10 sim delivered and if im being honest ive not really kept up with the latest images, bootloaders etc.
Can anyone tell me which is the best image about at the moment ive been using the blackhole bl 72 image and ive always been fine with that but obviously i bought the sim to so i could use newer bootloader and images also whats the top bl i can use with this sim any info is appreciated, cheers.

If you want a reliable image where you can update channel last through the image. I would recommend the dreamboxuk image. Think 2.1.2 is the latest. It uses bootloader 84b.

Yes it does m8 I use it myself on my dm800se,
although its aimed mainly at UK providers it will quite happily drive a motor and accept multi sat listings

I prefer the blackhole image I must admit out of all the ones I've tried for the 800HD.

Thanks for the links mate and the input dibbers i think i may give them both a go tomorrow see which one works best on my box tbh ive only ever stuck the blackhole images and they always seem to work best with mine out of the ones ive tried ive been planning on getting a se for ages now but the sim was only 16 quid delivered so i thought ill give this a go 1st.

yeah I'm planning on going SE styleeeeee! (at some point) happy with the HD800 at the minute, (and have been for some time) now I have another "project" on the go I'll probably be keeping it.

As for the image, yeah, I can honestly agree with you on that one for it mate.

Yeah m8 at the min ive got a DM800hd with the sim 1 in i looked into the Ferrari update but my sim was a t2 i think either way i couldnt use it so i was going to buy one until i saw these, ive been using my 800 for about 3 yrs now if i remember right so ive had my moneys worth i thought i was needing a new tuner but im pretty sure now the image just needs reflashing i was getting signals but no picture its done it a few times but always comes back on tbh it would be a shame to replace it it does what it says on the tin
