sorry if this has been covered , need major help ...just got my dm800 se clone from china , plugged it in and have no power to the reciever .. is this box faulty , what should i do? , i can solder a bit if this is an option ... please help as i dont want to send it back to china which would prob cost a fortune .. thanks alot in advance,

the closest thin i have is a 240 to 13v but i think that might blow it up lol , thanks mate

Do you get an LED on the PSU when you plug it in, if you do then..Might sound silly..but theres a little power switch on the back of the reciever easily missed ... check it's switched on..
If theres no LED on the PSU try a different PSU.

no dont get anything mate , managed to get it powered on for about 3 seconds then just died , yea know about the switch lol .. i m guessing its the connection on the psu to the board but trying to find some tips on fixing it or soldering , thanks though mate

also when i plug it in and flick the power switch at the back i can hear a faint high pitche noise coming from where the dc adaptor is plugged in

Easiest test would be with a different PSU, if it boots up then it's a easy replacment you can tell your supplirt to post a new one out...or if they refuse a PSU is relatively cheap of well known auction sites..if it still doesnt boot on a known workign PSU...your best bet is to send it back to China for replacment.
