    Exclamation HELP! Hi 8 To DVD!!

    I have a load of Hi8 tapes full of family videos. Important memories I do not want to lose!

    The video camera used to record these is busted and I want to transfer all these tapes (around 50 in total) to DVD or some secure format.
    Any ideas guys??

    without getting a camera theres only one way m8 hi8 to dvd | eBay only a fiver

    Hmmm... I did see that but with around 50 tapes its going to cost a bomb! Thing is the Hi8 cameras are pretty expensive too, who would have thought!

    if u can get one like from purity above then get this Transfer Convert Copy VHS VCR Video Tapes to PC DVD | eBay u could always pay him the p&p and return after

    Live in London! Just as I'm writing this my mate (who I mentioned this to just yesterday) has texted to say he's found his old Hi8 camera in the loft! Haha. What are the chances?
    So now just need to get this cable and start capturing!
