Biss key on 8280

This has been a brilliant find thanks to xxxxxx- but I could not find MUTV on 10E at first this morning, as there was no longer a signal on MY set up, but its now back again five mins later!
My only struggle is with the audio - I successfully 'added channel' and put in the three PIDs with PLTV, PLTV Encl, NBA, but with Man U it doesnt seem to 'stick' for me!
Maybe someone can confirm that I am inputting the correct ones for MUTV:-
11259V 1613
VPID 0257
APID 0258
PPID 0257 (or maybe 0258 - but still doesnt retain the sound next time you select MUTV after first attempt!)

Any offers please?

Work ok on those pids for me, I just scanned the channel in and work perfect since.

Thanks Manic - but did you try to go off it then back to it?
I have actually managed to correct the MUTV audio problem now, but now have same problem with Chelsea TV, where it works ok when first scanned in, 8280 Biss keys entered, ok at first but then go off it (say, to watch PLTV for a few mins) then back to CTV and audio gone (but CAN get it temporarily back with audio settings just while viewing - but its gone quiet again next time that channel is addressed!) - for ME that is!
So I'm now going to have to delete CTV(11387V 30000), add it as a channel, inserting original PIDs, then re-allocate it to the Biss keys, and hope this time it 'keeps' the audio ok!
This type of prob has been happening for ages, espec with PLTV, but had forgotten all about it when reporting known faults to Phantom!

I am now having issues where mutv is driting strength wise.

Hi holmroad - re your sound problem - Tested switching between MUTV/CTV/PLTV sound level stays exactly the same on my 6900+
But noticed that PLTV, being in HD has the AC3 Sound box ticked, whereas the others in SD do not.
Is that where your problem lies ?

Its not really the sound 'level' Gwyn, its the whole audio which disappears (video still there though) until I mess about in the audio display (used audio mode button) and if I change first audio choice up to next choice then back the sound always returns - but goes again next time I return to that channel!

So I'm not really sure if this is patch related - or something else?
I'm currently on patch 726P, but it happened to me on other patches too (e.g. 737P, 747P) - but the only common factor is that its always on the 'Unknown' Biss channels this happens!

For your info I am running patch 747p. Just surmising here holmroad, but what if the MUFC English APID settings has AC3 sound mode selected, whereas the other language option did not.
Then it may be that you would get the sound until moving off the channel, but lose it again when returning to the channel, because the default would return the setting to the 'English Language' option, set incorrectly to AC3 ??

Yes mate, point taken thanks, but why is that I've rarely had to mess about with the audio button anyway until all this past few months with the Biss channels, apart from when changing the language?
I do find it strange that no-one else has experienced this same problem - after all plenty of us have TM6900HD Supers and use the same small choice of patches?
However, as I say, it does also seem a little strange that its only happening with Biss channels - and no other ones?

Although I can get all other channels on this sat to work, no luck with MU TV. Tried all methods I can think of to scan for the channel with no success. Getting 75% signal on PLTV and all working great.
Any advice would be appreciated, btw running patch 120p.
