quite an interesting read actually.
im trying to test this so i input the details into my ddwrt router.
ip routers ip address
username * password *
now i downloaded a vpn client on my android phone and put in my public ip address which i got from whatsmyip.
it keeps failing to connect.



i know just tryin to save him a £10 a month paying for a vpn diggin out an old linksys router and try n set up a ddwrt router then the fun will begin
did you set up some IP for the vpn clients

It may be a stooped question but...
...the setup in the link given is for PPTP with MPPE encryption required. Is your client set for that? You won't need any ports forwarded because the VPN endpoint is the router. Is your IP static or at least reasonably stable? Does your ISP block tunnelling?
Try bringing up a tunnel from a mate's PC to isolate the problem.
Just some thoughts...
