Would anyone please be able to let me know if both tuner types available for dm800se clones are OK with the current range of images?

Or, do the images have to be configured depending on the tuner type?

I have a dm800se with the BCM4505 tuner and it seems to be OK with whatever image I have installed. I need another dm800se and was thinking about going for the Alps 801 M tuner that is available as it is supposed to be more sensitive and has the loopthrough output. However, if it is not supported by the images then I will stick with the BCM4505 version.

The "M" tuner versions seem to have been an option for a while now and I have not found any feedback indicating there are problems?

Any advice most appreciated.
