25th wedding anniversary next year

Looking at a nice holiday for the 2 of us.
been to spain/turkey/tunisia/croatia/france/belgium/caneries/ibiza/amsterdam.
want something different
we like a bit of a beach hol but with things to do and places to walk/bus visit and good food etc.
we dont want mexico/sharm el shaik type of resort
a 2 centre hol is an option
not to hot (mid 20's is nice)
not to expensive (i'm tight lol)
where do you guys recommend/where have you been
a cruise is not an option
looking forward to your thoughts.

...you know what? Bet she would be happy to just do stuff together

Erm, so moving swiftly on, we went to Chamonix last year, great walking, no beach. Northern Spain is good, great beaches, great walking.

What do you want to 'see'? I like ancient stuff, me laddo said 'load of old stones - boring'.

Personally, I'd ignore any online crap from muppets (like me) and take your missus wherever she wants to go

We went to Canada and hired an RV for a month...

...Vancouver to Calgary. Of course, in those days it was cheap...great walking but the beaches are cold and watch out for the big fish things

We done it the other way for our honeymoon. But in a big V8. Booked the first 3 nights and the last 5 in advance. The rest we booked when we were there, that way we chose the itinerary and were not tied down.

come up to scotland , nice drive and you can either try The West Highland Way, Milngavie, Fort William, Walking in Scotland or drive over the mountians,plenty of good b/bs with great music,
there is roughly 30,000 lochs in scotland and you can park your car and walk for miles and have a picnic,maybe see a deer or or grouse/ pheasant/red squirell, not see a human for hours
