Getting started on RGH
hi there, i am looking to rgh my xbox. it has one of those lite on drives 4s i think and not worth the effort with the money to flash. i was wondering how much it would cost to rgh my console from scratch(components required as well would be nice). after i have done this can i revert back to original should i chose to resume xbl gaming without being banned?

Re: Getting started on RGH
hiya, take a look here mate its a good guide to have a look at
if your interested in xbox live aswell mate take a look at the tx demon, its a dual nand mod so you can have 2 nands on one xbox, so on one nand you would have your rgh image for all the rgh benefits, then on the other nand you can have your original nand so you can go on xbox live, ive just installed one on my xbox slim,

Re: Getting started on RGH
hiya, i already had a nandx which are about £25 i think, coolrunners £15, then few other little cables like nandx to coolrunner cable, maybe £5, so maybe 45 all in all,
tx demon is about £45 delivered, but if you got the tx demon you wouldnt need a nandx as you use the demon instead, theres a cheaper option to the nandx aswell called a jrunner programmer which are £15 i think off top of my head,
is it the xbox slim you have ?
8th July 2012, 18:08 #5I like cheap j runner it is. Yes slim 4gb. So j-runner and cool runner and soldering and I am sorted??? ( programming of course as well)

GTO got a good point there, but I too find myself in the same predicament as this guy. £45 that is the price you could get a dual nand set up that way. Anyway, I was surprised to see no tutorials on using jr programmer as an alternative to nand x. just want to clarify, i get a jr programmer, which is capable of reading / writing the nand and also programming the coolrunner board.
Also am i correct in understanding that you don't need the jr programmer attached in all the time in order for the glitch to work? only in the initial set up when actually flashing and programming after which it will be put to one side (in a safe box somewhere) and taken out again when we need to update the coolrunner board?
