strange one this. Because I had nothing better to do today I decided to do a manual callback on my box (using the install menu) and thought maybe I'd be able to manually pull in the new epg (my box is a drx890 so it should be due soon) so did the usual, unplug, hold down the power button on the box and stick the plug back in but I cant for the life of me get it to force update, it used to work fine on this box, infact I know im holding the button the down as it clicks in and out of deep standby, a function this box has if you hold down the power button so why isnt it force updating? have sky killed the option / changed the key presses required in the last firmware it downloaded?

No biggie as it'll update in its own time but I'm baffled and curious as to why I wasnt able to.

I've got the drx890, mine updated the other day overnight. When I tried forcing it I held the back up button not the power button

oh yes stupid me, it is backup isnt lol thanx mate

Just did the forced update and it pulled down the new epg. prefer the old one lol

yup just forced update mine and got the new epg and i must say i love it
