Question Wi-Fi.A warning signal.radiation Wi-Fi emits is similar to that frm mobile phone mast

I just watched an episode on wi-fi....

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Britain is in the grip of a Wi-Fi revolution with offices, homes and classrooms going wireless - but there is concern the technology could carry health risks.

The Government insists Wi-Fi is safe, but a Panorama investigation shows that radio frequency radiation levels in some schools are up to three times the level found in the main beam of intensity from mobile phone masts.

There have been no studies on the health effects of Wi-Fi equipment, but thousands on mobile phones and masts.

The radiation Wi-Fi emits is similar to that from mobile phone masts. It is an unavoidable by-product of going wireless.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Quite an interesting watch all though I am now paranoid of sleeping and a wi-fi repeater being on the other side of the wall from my head. (OK don't say it but I know what your all thinking..lol)

I'm honestly thinking that I'll disable wi-fi at set times when I'm in bed or move the wi-fi system.......paranoid?

we could all be the futures guinea pigs......

    BBC NEWS 2007 > here

I know there was one woman who taking it a little but too far.........or has she?

    good little read HERE

saying that the all these things are not as bad as chugging on a ciggy.....so until I re-master that then I should not really be that bothered about the odd wi-fi signal that I have....and come to think of it there's about 18 around me now........

Just think about how many signals are all around as it is. You have radio and TV, mobiles, wi fi, radar, and that is probably just a few. Just imagine how many signals are probably hitting us on a day to day basis and we don't even know about it.
Seems everyone knows someone that has had a form of cancer so it would not surprise me in the slightest if all these signals do have something to with it but the government is never going to say it down to that.

My 2 pence worth anyway lol

To be quite honest I don't really care. If I went through life worrying about every little thing that could cause me harm I wouldn't have time to actually have a life.

I suggest that if anyone really wants to get away from it they buy a plot of land in the middle of the Arctic (providing it doesn't melt away that is) or the Australian outback or some other wide open space (also providing that they don't get sprayed by the chem trails from above), because to be frank the government don't give a crap and will never do anything about all the stuff that we may think does us harm.

I agree, it's ironic how I dream of living some where in the outback, Canada, you know some where more remote than the lab.....and yet I've al ways said "as long as I have wi-fi"

    point taking.....lol

isn't amazing how little of the spectrum we can see, tiny little bit, probably a good thing really.

remember the old Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vein..?

We'd never remember any thing longer......

You dont need to worry about the small amount of radiation from wifi /mobile phones ect In the nineteen 50's sellafield had a serious accident and eradiated the whole area and they just dumped gallons of radio active milk from the cows round it into the drains and told our parents it was safe the cattle and fields were left as they were

lol, my parents came from there, Lowca and Thornhill. i had holidays in Braystones every year, from 1960-1976.
as i recall there were two fires, in the "iconic" cooling towers, along with regular leaks of contaminated water. milk live stock and root products were all just thrown away.
there were stories, i had a girlfriend who worked there in the 70's, of yard wide mushrooms and 2-3 foot crayfish/lobsters, in and around the cooling pools.
for all the fuss, apart from a leukaemia cluster(extremely worrying as that is), no real ill effects have shown up.
as the prevailing current is north, its hard to see why an area south. would be more badly affected, than area's north.

during the 70's both Dolphins and Basking sharks were, comparatively, common sights off the cost there.
and crabbing was, and still is, good in the area.

    as for the EM problem.
i'll wager we have more trouble with the fields caused by the wind farms. than Calder hall leaks, cell towers and home wifi all put together.
