yes mate on my TM6900s works fine as well

tonight i well have an other go on my TM5402 to make sure but i know some friends they are having the same problems,

the problem is sorted

what is happening is if you do blind search it will not open

now what i did is deleted the old transponder

and put it back again scaned only the transponder and it worked but the chanall you will find it under the name TV2-12607 H SKY U


If someone having problems you can do it like this.
1) first press menu enter pin 0000
2) then go to PID search and press ok
3) then go to transponder perss ok.then find this number 12607H 27500 press ok on it. then press the yellow button. then it come up with a box saying Warning! do you wont to delete. then you click on yes to delete it. then stay were you are then press the green button add transponder 12607H 27500 when you finsh this press the red button just to scan the transponder. and you will find the chanall will open.

I'm having roughly the same problem on my 5402HD for many channels where I get a strong signal quality but no audio/video message.
For example, yesterday I tried to watch Sportitalia on 12.5W, 12515H, 17455 SR. For all channels on this transponder I was getting the above message. Signal quality was something like 63% where it normally was.
I did as XXXXXX suggested and deleted the transponder, then put it back and scanned. However, no channels were found and this transponder is no longer in the list despite having a reasonable signal quality.
I stress that I'm encountering this situation for several channels on other satellites as well and this having gone on for quite some time. I'm using patch 118 at the moment and I'm beginning to wonder if this is actually causing this problem.
As I say, I'm frequently getting no audio/video in many instances despite having strong signal quality. I'm really pulling my hair out over this but I've held out asking for help until now.

Are you sure that the channels are showing the correct PID's...?

Menu > Edit Channels > Rename Channels/Edit PID's > Go to channel & Press OK

The correct PID's are...

Sportitalia [VPID 0656/APID 0658/PPID 0656]
Sportitalia 2 [VPID 0756/APID 0758/PPID 0756]
Sportitalia 24 [VPID 0856/APID 0858/PPID 0856]

Edit: I did not read your post correctly... try adding the channels manually...

Menu > Edit Channels > Add Channels > Select correct frequency > Name first channel > Enter PID's (as above) > Press Yellow button to save > Select correct frequency > Name second channel > Enter PID's (as above) > Press Yellow button to save > Select correct frequency > Name third channel > Enter PID's (as above) > Press Yellow button to save > Exit menus then check new channels are working...

Before you add the channels manually...

Menu > Installation > Advanced Search > Go down to transponder > Press Green button (add TP) > Insert Frequency > Insert Symbol Rate > Set Polarization > Go back up to Transponder > Press OK twice > Press Exit > Saving... Please wait!! > Exit menus

Now you can add the channels manually using the method in my previous post...

Hi Zorch, many thanks for that really helpful post.

One of the problems now is that there's no channel there to be edited. When I scanned the transponder earlier this morning, all channels on it were deleted by my box! What I've found with this stb is that you cannot store a transponder if it 'thinks' there's no channels on it (even though there really are)

So what I've done now is carry out a PID search, entering those parameters for Sportitalia1. Once again, despite a relatively high quality of 73% (its a sunny day here for a change), a scan reveals no channels.

What other channels can you clear on that satellite?

What's working are:-
RTV 11157H, Fonlider, RTS 11147H, Canal Catala 11181V, TJK Istanbul2 11329H, TJK Istanbul1 11334H, Bethel, KTO, TM1(biss) 11407V, Tunis TV 12584H, Record INt. 12655H, Kanal4 12723V and TV1? 12744V.

Despite having quite strong signal qualities of 77% and 82% respectively, I can't get any channels to work on 12545H and 12718H and as said, 12515H for Sportitalia etc.
