is there anyway that the epg can be updated, when the vu+duo is in stanby mode ?im using blackhole image.....im using XEPGDB providers..Rytec...its set up to do downloadat 9pm...but im at work at that time...and when i come home later..i have to manually update the epg by presiing...green button twice...would be nice if it can do it automatically...

don't be bloody lazy takes 15 seconds to do when the adverts are on.

Not too sure about deep standby but in normal standby and if set correctly the EPG should wake the box up, do the download and then go back into standby, mine does.

thats exactly what happens , the box goes back to the pre update state , so it will put your box back into standby when it has done

so what are the settings you guys got...?..i cant get this to work...my duo just stays in standby mode.....ie clock dimly lit..do i need to do anything in the BH-HDMI-CEC configuration or is it just in the epg configuration ?..ta
