is the file on HDD dated today when you ran FlashBackup ?

sounds like its worked but location is wrong to me ?

As Rat says its working fine but location is setup wrong I would reckon

Yes - I deleted the file after the first failure and it was created again after the second try.

The report it gives 'Flashbackup has failed' is certainly not verbose!

Would it be foolish or courageous to try that .nfi file to see if it works?

if its chucking up errors like that mate I would be inclined to un install the plugin and start again

Ok I have just installed it on my other dm800se in the kitchen and I am doing a backup at the moment,
one thing I did notice that I didnt before is that when you change the backup location it doesnt take until you exit the plugin and then when you go in to do your backup it should be fine,

On the first try it created the directory and did not find it so I selected the directory on the 'sub-list' for the second try and it still could not find it. Did the complicated stuff all right and fell over on the simple bit!

I shall keep the .nfi file and try it if I have cause to reflash.

To complete the story...

Needed to reflash so used the .nfi file and everything went through OK.
