Hoya, a friend of mine has asked me to try and fix his iphone 4, its the white 16gig model, it has a crack on the front of the phone but i dont think its gone deep enough to touch the screen underneath from searching the net it looks like its the bezel bit that sits over the screen , im wondering what the best way is to fix it, do i just buy the replacement bezel , if so wheres best place to get it ? Or am i better getting a full front screen etc which might be easier to fit i dont really know to be honest, which is easiet to do and best place to get the parts from ? Thanks

I would get the full screen replacement as the touch screen and lcd are bonded together,the job is fairly easy just make a map of where all the screws come from as most are different sizes

hiya, thought id update the thread on how i got on, the screen came this afternoon and got straight on with it, the guides are brilliasnt, one thing i did was use bits of paper for different steps, so step one i took the screws out and wrote on the paper step 1 screws and placed the screws on that bit of paper, there was some steps that had maybe 5 screws but were colour coded in the guide so again i used abit of paper saying say step 7, then i wrote red on it and put the screw that was red on the guide next to where it said red and so on for orange etc etc, so many different little screws you need to keep track, anyway ive just finished now and its all up and running with no crack in the middle of the screen thanks to the new screen, thanks
