well upgrade didn't help just need a copy of free video converter each time i try to get it my virus scanner pops up and stps download.

might i suggest running your mkv files through mkv2vob i know it is made for ps3 but it automatically encodes it for standard mp4 which most tv pvr and xbox recognise. (takes about 2 minutes to remux) worth a shot before you go encoding.
