Chaps, got a VPN connection from work to home, using SSH, everything is fine and the connection is dandy (when the ftp rapers aren't at play...lol) I have VLC at work, when I click on the "stream" then it doesn't work, VLC player just comes up with an error?? is there a setting on the dreambox that I need to do to enable remote play, it works here at home if I want to stream the dream to any device.

You might have to setup a PC at home to re-encode the stream so it uses less bandwith

at this moment in time it's 500k upload. I can't even get it to start streaming as I haven't got it configured correctly to try the bandwidth yet.... think i need "socks" or the like sorted for VLC...?
