i dont think porn is the problem here. its only healthy for a young person wanting to discover these things.
The problem is social networking, chat sites and anywhere where peados can use to groom vulnerable people.
Rather the kid watched a bit of porn than chat to some old stranger.

Haha I remember the days of being a young lad and finding carrier bags full of porn mag cut outs up the woods now if I want 'extreme close up facial' I type www. And it's that easy for teens and kids aswell but it shouldn't be up to the isp's, parents should take responsibility for their pride and joys, monitor their Internet use. It's the same old nonsience when kids were playing gta, an 18 rated game and parents and the daily fail were all over it, drives me mad!

As most have said porn on the internet is there and should be there IF you want to look at it for educational or as a beautiful form of art .

There are many programs out there that can filter out porn as well as any other things including how long kids live on the computer and have access to the internet (K9 web protection is good and free)

People nowadays are just fooking lazy and want other people/companies to do things that THEY should be doing. OK there are people out there that aint very computer literate which i understand but EVERYONE of us could not walk, read or write when we were born so we LEARNT how to do it. Once again people are just to lazy to learn and want to blame others for things they are doing wrong.

This country is allowing people and encouraging them to be thick and stupid.

Very true!

i have 3 young kids and i disagree with filtering any part of the internet, i take responsibility for my kids and don't expect others to do that for me. Adult filters just don't work, whenever i sign up to a new mobile phone contract this proves its self time and again, i am no longer able to access my forum or even the register.
what i done was set up all the computers in the house with passwords, the kids can only access one account and that goes straight to "Magic Desktop", this program will email me if the kids want to stray outside the white list of sites, i can then view them and allow or deny access.
The daily mail is only helping the government to make this a dictatorship and nanny state, i will be boycotting the mail now until they stop this crap, and that's coming from a father of an 8year old and 4 your old twins who uses the internet safety without the intervention of the government.
