I have an internal hdd in Vu+ Duo, when I record from the TV the playback is fine.
When I transfer a mkv file from my computer to the Vu+ hdd the playback is stretched, anyone know where the setting are to change this?
I am using VIX 2.4 this also happened on the 2.3

I think this is the info that helped

In the settings (menu -> setup -> system -> a/v settings), what do you have for the "Display 4:3 content as" and "Display > 16:9 content as"? On mine, I have 4:3 as Pillarbox and 16:9 as Letterbox, and all movies display correctly in their native aspect ratio... So, if you have the correct settings there, and also disabled the AspectRatioSwitch plugin, then it must be your tv settings...

Thats what I initially thought but presumed he already had them like that as his recorded stuff played back ok, Cheers for the feedback guys
