    battery terminal connector problem

    Hi guys

I have a packard bell enta gl
    2.1 Duo core

My problem is the battery terminal has broken off the motherboard so the battery not charging, now i want to repair it but i'm not sure where to get the part from for it?
Or do i have to get a bust motherboard from the same model and transfer the battery terminal to my working motherboard?

    thanks for any help
    Mark

The battery connectors should be the same for any motherboard. Post a picture of the snapped one if you want to double check.

To be honest, and it's not what you want to hear, I wouldn't bother trying to repair as the PCB near the battery connector looks damaged.

    all is welcome

it is bent backwards a bit i can't seam to get a close up pic of the true damage the boards not completely split just like its pushed backward

I think i will still rebuild just means it has to be plugged in permantly thats a shame

seams like someone wanted to destroy this laptop for some unknown reason, they cut wireless wires and the speakers ripped the keyboard out and also cut the mouse pad wire

i've had the laptop up and running, the screens in excellant condition, i've added wireless and thats working fine now the webcam working and from what other thing i've tested its working fine and its not a slow computer so i dont understand why someone has tried to destroy it

    thanks mark
