It will be bundled with some software your updating/installing, make sure you read the installation notes.

In terms of your browser it will have taken over as the default search engine, which browser is it?

You do know v12.0 is available?

I can't remember if V7.x supports this but hold down shift and double click the icon (make sure you back up book marks before) and then it should pop up a box with an option to reset settings, addons etc.

    Thats the easiest way.

According to Mcafee and other websites that check for software this is not classed as malware and is apparently safe to use.

    Re: iLivid

Not it the strictest sense, but equally there are many other websites/forums that insist it is. It is still something that isn't needed or wanted and shouldn't be installed.

    It:

    · Offers to change the homepage for web browsers installed in the system
    · Offers to change the default search engine for web browsers installed in the system
    · Offers to download or install software or components (iLivid Toolbar, Bandoo) that the program does not require to fully function
