yes i guess it would, but only if your restarting enigma after youve finished the update, and it also depends which way you did it, as if you use the updater 1st then used dbe to upload the files manually then the dbe edit would of overwritten the latest files, but if you didnt restart then none would take effect!

ok downloaded RAT's 29/04/2012 bouquet (thats what it says on bouquet 'Data Folder: 29/04/2012)..............

the problem ive noticed is if i run RAT's updater plugin on the channel that is blank and restart my cam that channel starts working but if i go to another blank channel and run the updater the previous ones sometimes go blank AGAIN..............

help peeps im going crazy

I dont think its the channel list but try starting from Fresh.

1. Download Latest Channel list (29/04/12)
2. Upload using DBE
3. Once that is done hit the restart enigma2 button or restart from your box.
4. Channels should all be there if your getting blank screen then it might be a config problem with your cam
4a. If your still getting no service found (SID) not found in PAT then check tuner config and make sure your download isnt corrupt.

Alternative is try another channel list and see if you have same problem or no channel list at all. Do a full scan, and then see if the channel works when you go to view all

Bally, firstly how do i completely delete the current channel list? so that its scattered like normal when you first load the image?

loves RATs bouquet, hope i dont have to change to another bouquet. My tuner is set to 28.2e Eurobird so scanning wise it seems to be ok.

I'm using the VIX 2.3 image with MGCAMD 1.35A. what image are you guys using?

If possible can you post me a different bouquet list?

or do you think i need to start from scratch, re-install the image, cam etc etc... if so whats the quickest way of completely wiping my box????

what mgcamd is compatible with this image? 1.35a? do yuo use RAT's bouquet?

If you use Blackhole image as Johnny Bravo has said you can download channel settings direct from the feeds on Blackhole, And yes it can use exactly the same Softcam as every other image can

new to VU+, can you please elaborate on download channel settings direct from the feeds , how would i do this once the image in flashed? do you mean just do a channel scan on 28.2e?

Do i flash this image the same way as i did with the current image vix 2.3, onto a USB stick and restart?

Correct then just go through the setup procedure as normal once done if you press Green Button then Yellow button this will take you to the install section, where you can download Channel settings

im using VIX 2.3 at the moment, i assume flashing a new image using a USB stick just overrides this?
