Al Sabah TV (Kuwait) is back on this morning after quite a long period of non-reception... I regularly check this channel/frequency (weather permitting) and it's now shown up again... the current signal readings are (probably) the best I've ever seen for this channel/frequency... so... if you haven't got this channel/frequency scanned into your receiver... now would be a very good time to try...

This channel/frequency has been getting stronger and stronger over the past few days... so if you haven't got this satellite/frequency/channel on your receiver already... then now would be a very good time to try...

ive just tried it on my tm600/1.25 gibby and inverto black pro and cant get a sniff. regards mdt

That's strange... you should easily receive enough signal to get a lock on that transponder... especially with the satellite set-up you describe...

Can you get a lock on this transponder then...?

Hi Zorch,

i have a similar setup to mdt and i dont live far from him but i cant pick it up either that 40-50 miles can make a hell of a difference and also probably your fibo gregorian LOL

A new channel appeared on this satellite yesterday morning... it replaced Karameesh Plus (Jordan) on the same frequency... I neglected to post pictures of Karameesh Plus on this thread... so here's details and pictures of both channels...

Karameesh Plus (Jordan)

Signal Strength 94%
Signal Quality 52%

The new/replacement channel (below) has been showing much better Signal Strength/Signal Quality readings than the previous channel... and even though it's very dull and overcast here with a bit of drizzle... the signal is well strong enough to withstand the rain fade from the wet dish...

Wesal TV (Saudi Arabia)

The Signal Strength/Signal Quality on this transponder/channel was quite unbelievable yesterday morning... it's was very dull and overcast with moderate rainfall... and my dish was absolutely wet through... so there was also considerable rain fade... but the signal readings were the highest I have ever seen on this transponder/channel... it was stronger/as strong as anything on Badr 4/5/6 at 26.0°E and even on a par with a couple of transponders on Astra 1KR/1L/1M/2C at 19.2°E

Signal Strength 97%
Signal Quality 81%

I tried to post this yesterday morning but was unable to upload the pictures for some reason... so I have left it until this morning... however the signal readings are exactly the same this morning... I have attached pictures below... if anyone is interested... the pictures were taken at about the same time yesterday morning...

Reception of this transponder must now be achievable on most dishes...
