Hi lads and lassies,

I am trying to flash a very old DM7020 that has been switching itself off and hanging for a few months now. Its in a really bad state, front panel hanging off, some kind of sticky substance on the cover etc etc.

I have tried using dream up but it blue screen my lappy and the pc, tried two different images and two different cables, same result.

I have tried with the mini web but it just doesn't do anything when I push "flash"

Can these be flashed using USB?

Giving it one last try before it hits the bin.

did you connect the null modem cable and ethernet cable?

yeah, null cable connects on com 4 and ip addy is 192.168.1.71

before you bin it, want to send it over?

I will check with the guy that owns it, I sold him a new one and I said I will have a look at it. If he doesn't want it you can have it.

ok mate....

I can telnet to the box using DCC if it can be flashed that way.
