I got a xbox 360 (from dump) which when plugged in wasnt the correct key.
Will the rgh which people are talking about find key or will it still not work.
I used to use as a streaming tool but an firmware rev about a year ago lost ability for that.
What exactly would i need to buy to get the key

If it can be RGH`d , then yes it can be put back to a working box.

You just need to install a CR and boot into xell that will give you the CPU and DVD keys and bish bash bosh away you go

its an old non hdmi console but will need to check when home.
i got an lt pro and probe.
What hardware do i need to buy to install or is it box specific.
I will look around for tut but if theres def stuff i need to buy i will get as got 5 boxes so 1 must work.lol

Well after bit reading i think i am screwed as i was on live with this up until the update that removed flashed firmware then it wouldnt connect as not matching key.
oh well

the live update would not have changed the key to the box.

Maybe not typed correctly.
The drive didnt match originally but was ok for live and streaming etc but i couldnt play games.
a couple of updates ago it wouldnt take the update so i wasnt able to goto live as it wouldnt take update

Ive successfully updated with a wrong key on dvd. Main thing is to be on stock dvd firmware relevant to dashboard version. I used a USB drive and not the online facility.

TX have said that the RGH will work on Xenons for key extraction but it is very unreliable for normal game use. You will need the coolrunner and nand reader if you want to do the RGH.

never thought of updating via usb .
will try that at least it acts as video streamer.
