The HD channels arent fta on the cable network mate - you would need a card share and good luck finding that!!!!

I have a CS sorted mate.

But the guy who runs it is struggling to find some of the frequencies for my area...I was hoping someone on here might be able to assist

could you try a bruteforce scan? that should scan all frequencies and you'd be able to see what they are for your area?
    If your mother only knew...

I don't suppose the problem services are on QAM256 modulated frequencies are they....

I have recently noticed a switch to QAM256 (from QAM64) and this might be causing a problem...

I should also have said that if 'your guy' wants to find the new frequencies, rather than faff about in the dark he should use dvbsnoop (filtering out the required NIT [using your network id, converted to hex]) and then all the frequencies, FECs, QAM values are written for all to see

A simple check against a genuine box will confirm the number of services and transponders (around 48 for me atm) so you'll know you have them all

My cables.xml file only ever has my active transponders and one area entry that searches the default frequency, but with QAM on auto..

PS, he could also install and execute tda1002x via telnet and (using the correct symbolrate) scan all the frequencies again in seconds
