    Kingston USB Drive Faulty?

I had a new kingston 8gb usb stick in my dm800se for about a month now and noticed yesterday that my epg had stopped working.. I found that the usb drive wasnt listed anymore on the dreambox so took it out plugged it into my pc and its showing up but I cant access it or format it?

I get an error message saying its write protected? Has the stick gone faulty? Any ideas??

try formatting it with HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool - v2.1.8

    Code:

My Lacie MosKeyto went tits up a while back and I tried this util but it didn't work for me. I tried some other software to low level format and some to rewrite the mbr and loads of other things. In the end I checked out the warranty and sent it back and got a new one
